At least he learned something from that experiment. When brought Manu into 5/8, kept him on the right & Kez stayed on the left. I’ve never understood why pretty much every team, every week, has the 7 on the right and the 5/8 on the left.

Most of the specialist halves can pass right or left no problem. but say you're a right-handed winger for example you should try pass the ball off your left foot step its the opposite on the other side of the field your passing off your right step that's why some players natural passing game is right or left.it does have a bit of influence on your passing game especially passing long balls. So lets look at Keary he's a natural running 5/8 he can pass either way but his natural passing game is right to left passing off his left step that's why he plays better running that edge imo not at halfback.

Yep, that's the elephant in the room.

We have a very good roster.

But we do not have a 'superstar' roster. I was quite sho ked to see us previously listed as favourites for this year's prem. I had us finishing the season in around 6th, and I stand by that.

Compare 2018 with now. We have a good squad, but it's not what it was. That's footy. That's the NRL. There are swings and roundabouts

That's 5 quite big downgrades across the squad, and that's off top of my head

End of story is, ROBBO is the best coach available. Easily. We will come good, but it will take time and it may not be until next year.

Plus the 2018 versions of Keary, Toups, JWH, Radley and Teddy were far superior than the 2023 versions. The only improvers are Collins and Manu (centre version). Issac is also a huge loss and we are definitely missing Fargo’s metres from our end.

I noticed Manu struggle to pass the ball from right to left during the pre game warm up. He’s more comfortable the other way.

Pearce has the best 20 metre bullet pass both ways I’ve seen. Jennings definitely the worst passer of the ball in living history.

I’m not advocating Robbo be replaced so I guess I don’t need to contribute here. But for the record the only one I would consider is Fitzy but not until Trent’s contract is up and / or if he actually does need to move on at that point.

It's fine to bring up his outstanding record but our record against the top teams is dropping quickly and we went from winning almost every knockout match to being out thought, last years semi was the perfect example.

I don't think anyone wants to see a successful coach replaced but how long does a club with such a great roster accept " we've got back to our systems "

Our defense has declined year after year so that is why fans are a little bit upset

id take Bellamy every day of the week over robbo .I reckon robbo cost us a crack at a premiership last year with the great experiment that backfired and probably this year as well with another experiment that has backfired badly again

Re Pearce and Jennings. That was during the warm up. Jenko would often pass the ball over SKD head. I looked forward to it every home game
