Other than forcing an error from the opposition, is there any way to force a scrum on the last tackle these days?
Our mob just seem utterly clueless when it comes to slowing down the play.
You're deep in their half, you're on the last tackle, there's a minute and a bit to go, the opposition are panicking yet somehow, it's impossible to keep them down that end.
Why not take a miracle shot at a 2 point field goal? The ball is in the air for 5 seconds, they have to reform either at the goal line or the re-start line and try to orchestrate a miracle. Instead...their miracle comes from dreadful defense and an inability to shut down the play.
Where are the game managers?
