I loved the early version of Radley, but this year he has been a liability.
Hit hard and fair, but forget the inflictor garbage.
His massive over reaction to a nothing incident on the weekend was brainlessly immature, proved nothing, just a waste of time.
Sticking up for your mate is great, but St George did nothing wrong, should have been their ball actually I'm surprised we got the penalty.
Radley should have been binned or sent.
I think they should give him a final warning, play him off the bench as a 14, start with Brown at lock, piss the Handbrake off completely,
Then we might have a chance to win a few games.
If Radley reoffends then he should be dropped for whatever amount he is suspended for.
But why do you think they dont though?

I can’t disagree with any of that.

Maybe because he is one of the most popular members of the group, and they are scared of how the other players would react.
That's why they have to get Radley to make the decision to change, won't work any other way.
That's why they actually have to COACH him.
I think the Guru senses he is at a tipping point.
The coach I mean...... he thinks he could lose them entirely if he sacks Radley,
but I think he would be surprised, and the team would actually respect the move.

I think its more like that Rads is an out & out footy head who is a local junior who plays the game like a thug & people like Robbo, Nick the other players & I love a good thug.
Rads will never be dropped or player 14, he's a thug & every good footy team needs a thug.

I like Rads, or I did until this season. He's just dumb, he doesn't scare anyone. If they can COACH him to forget about trying to be an INFLICTOR..... that tag has more damage to him than to anyone else,..... he can certainly be very good, high energy, fearless, with ball skills.
But right now he's a liability, if he gets suspended again for something blatantly stupid he will get 4 to 6 weeks, and then I'd let him go.

He, like many of our players, need just to get back to basics. Don’t worry about the fancy plays, or being the aggressor. Just run hard, tackle hard, win the ruck and play off the back of that.. Oh, I nearly forgot, and ffs stop making poor concentration errors..
