  • Not rock bottom yet.

I think it will be another 3 or 4 games before we really bottom out.
Hard to watch , if we won last night vs the Dragons , it would have hidden the problems.
Lets hope they sort it out.
We all have ideas on what should be done , but our coach has some blind spots.
Hard to watch , so bad.

won't get sorted with guru picking same shit players in the same positions each week...How did Einstein define insanity?

A win would’ve done them the world of good last night. Clear they are very low on confidence at the moment, first half looked lost for ideas and it’s been a long time since I’ve seen that.

Some of the senior players in Teddy, Keary, Crichton & Brown really stepping it up in the 2nd half will hopefully instill some confidence into the younger guys.

In the first half the Dragons were running on the electricity provided by the changing of the guard, they were trying to find a hole in every play. In the second half the Roosters played the Robbo style of footy, leaving it until as late as possible before making the late charge.

It all boils down to the ability to nail the basics each and every game over 80 minutes and not a perceived lack of confidence in my view

The Roosters have traditionally never been a high set completion club and are often at or the near the top in errors including handing errors and penalties conceded for instance

They really need to keep on improving on the basics including their general field kicking and last tackle kick options and work towards being a competitive 80 minute side week in week out.

Sure players are not performing at the level people may expect of them although on the flip side I also don't buy the "opinion" as many on here certainly have that the Roosters have the best squad and thus are premiership favourites.

The Roosters squad would be in the 4th to 6th range the same as their so called spine - only recognised signing for 2023 was Brandon Smith.

So hardly a reason to propel them from 4th - 6th to number 1 in the squad rankings one has to honestly say.

Penrith / Souths / Parramatta /Sharks/Cowboys and even the Storm who will be even better if they get Ryan Papenhuyzen back were not going to drop their level of performance -other teams have improved as well such as Brisbane for instance who also have a very strong squad of players one has to say.

I think the "noise" on here that Coach Robinson has lost interest including the dressing room and players are no longer listening can be somewhat dispelled (not that it will be though by his detractors) as if that was the case they would folded up like a deck chair after being down 12-0 at half - Came out in the second half and played some decent footy and unfortunate to lose the game in the fashion they did at the bell.

As I said on another post by the end of this round the competition leaders will be on 16 points and the Roosters on 12 points - only 4 comp points the difference in this very condensed competition

Not even at the half way mark and there are still 13 games to go.

Quite a number on here have given up (raised the white flag ) and resorted to the old tedious and boring player and coach bashing as a result which I suppose gives emphasis to the well known fact that Roosters Supporters are the most fickle of supporters in the League.

Certainly would never call them thick or thin type supporters

Anyway I am backing the Coaching Staff and Squad 100% to get the season back on track

It's almost as if it needs to be win x amount of games to make the finals. Meantime, I'm dying slowly.

My concern is we were physically bashed in the first half, by the team coming 16th !!!!. Once again the coach couldn't get us ready to fire from kick off....or the players aren't putting in for each other. I still think there must be massive issues within this squad

We haven't hit rock bottom as yet???? How much worse can it get. Last week I thought we would still make the eight. But unfortunately last night was the final nail in the coffin. With the latest injuries and suspensions I doubt we make any kind of dent in the comp this year.
