Does anyone else think that the success of our lower grades in these finals is down to the removal of Smith? There would be a few players there that would have been dirty with him. Maybe they started to realise that the opportunities would be there to impress the new regime. Attitude is such a big part of any success.

Still this game was a long way off first grade standard.

love it.
my mate/neighbour just so happens to be a bulldogs/collingwood supporter.
im already day dreaming about seeing him at school after next weekend and say:
oh, did you see the dogs get humbled by souffs in the nrl?
how about the dogs toyota cup team bowing out in straight sets?
and surely you heard that the roosters ressies beat the dogs ressies?
so the dogs were minor premiers over all three grades yet they didnt make one grand final?
and to top it all off, the swans got up over the pies and are now in the GF! lol
1 hyperthetical down
3 to go.
on another note, if the jets are to win next week v the dogs, this should be there team:
1. alofa alofa
2. tupou
3. carney
4. henry
5. tagive
6. mortimer
7. killah
8. masoe
9. seluini
10. ailomai
11. bosden
12. barrett
13. ellaz
14. pearn
15. kara
16. cherrington
17. houma
cut littlejohn, liu and viotu
and finally, the jets did well to beat norffs, seeing as the bears forward pack looks miles better then ours.

Ok, very small comfort but still....
souths to beat the dogs next week and then get beaten in the GF will pretty much make my year!

in round 1 v souths, i went and had a shower with about 5 mins left after maubs kicked the ball away.
got out of the shower to see the boys all celebrating and couldnt believe i missed it.
on a side note, were you born in '66 or are you refferring to the fact they came last that year?

- Mose made some good runs and was very good on the line, scoring 2 tries (both bulging his way over, but was quiet in the first half as he didnt have much game time.
- Mortimer had a good game, i thought he had stuffed us up though when he didnt find touch from a penalty kick with 40 seconds to go
- Seluini i thought also had a good game, every time he darted from dummy half he would make 10+ metres. He helped provide the spark for our comeback
- Justin Carney isnt as slow as he should be. Ran 90 metres to score today.
I thought everyone played well today, but for the people that are saying Daniel Mortimer should go ahead of Pearce, remember this is reserve grade we are talking about.
