He's a very experienced reserve grader.

All Newtown matches at Henson Park or in Sydney will have at a minimum radio coverage, some video as well.

Kane Evans departs the field after he was creamed in a tackle.
          Damn, hope he's alright.

Geez if Houma keeps going the way he's going he could be looking at a call up to first grade. He's a massive unit and seems to have a lot more mobility in defence than Mose did. Kennedy will really have to step his game up over the next couple of weeks to keep guys like Houma, Ailaomai, Napa and Liu from taking his spot. His play the balls are way to slow cos he doesn't work on the ground. Just lets the man roll him onto his back. His runs and workrate aren't all that bad but unlike Hargreaves we never get a roll on after Kennedy's runs. Then you look at guys like Ailaomai and Liu. Big solid fellas who are quick to the line with good leg drive who invariably land on their stomachs and always strive for quick play the balls. If MK continues to dish up what he did the other night it won't be long before these guys get their chance and make the most of it. I personally don't think Napa is ready. He wouldn't take a backward step but as a bench prop his impact would be minimal. He's not the guy that will come off the bench and bend the line just yet. Evans I believe could do that but he needs to get match fitness first and with no preseason that would take a while. I think he'll be a starting prop by the end of the season though if Kennedy doesn't improve greatly. Moa, while full of effort, probably isn't quite an NRL standard starting prop. But with his attitude would be one of the best bench props in the game. I think Kennedy should start next week and show what he can offer with no longer minutes, bench prop will never be his go. We are desperately missing Tasi. O'Donnell is no where near the answer to our problems in the front row.

Have to disagree about moa yak...he is a first grade starting prop for sure.

Kennedy esp the trimmer version lacks power at the moment...if it is injury recovery related he should be with jets at least for now.

Agree though would love to see one of the lower grade props mentioned given a go soon.

Poor kid has be jumping out of his skin to play footy, in the 2nd half Evans took the ball up & the opp ran towards him to tackle him then the player lifted his knee & it hit evans straight to the pelvic area causing him to go down, had to stop game to be
                    assisted off the field.
Evans having scans Monday to check damage.

Don't get me wrong, I rate him very highly. His attitude to invaluable to the team and he's only a couple of games into his NRL career. But at this moment I just don't think he's quite at that level. There's really not many teams that have 2 quality props actually. JWH is our best prop by a country mile. He was immense the other night. If Evans can finally get some games together he'll get to the same level very quickly. I can't figure out what's the go with MK. He's very sloppy at the moment. Hopefully some game time will sort that out. Til then Ailaomai will be breathing down his neck. You wouldn't lose any size or workrate. Ailaomai is a bit less of a toiler and more of a power forward and offloader. Uses his good foot speed to run a great wedge. Better option than LOD if you're replacing a prop imo.

Keep a record of that side & see how many become regular first graders. I say only 1.
