  • Jets in the semis!!

I know this should be in a different forum but the Jets beat the hell out on Balmain in the second half today and qualified for the Semis.

It aint much but personally I'll take any good news I can get at the moment.

That's great news, well done to the Jets.
Time to get off my arse then and go support them it seems.

Save yourself.......8/11 teams qualify for the finals - Jets made it with a -212 differential - Bankstown will put 50 - 60 on them in the first week of the finals.

Dear oh dear, 8 out of 11 qualify for the finals huh? That's a bit of a farce.

Great second half from Newtown after a scratchy first half trailing 6-16.They dominated possession for the first 20mins of the second half to run in 4 tries to take a 32-16 lead. The five eight Tu'u Maori had a great game scoring two tries.Josh Lewis for the Tigers had a shocker.

Haven't watched a game of league at Henson well since the Roosters last played there which was a long time ago,so glad i went today,it was like a trip down memory lane,a sausage and onion roll, a can of VB[could not do the KB ],a hill,an old scoreboard and some old fashioned football .Also was great to see every time Newtown scored a try one of the locals would ride a bike around the outer ground flying the Newtown flag. Also great to see Shannon down with the Newtown cheer squad.Definately will try to get to a few more games at Henson next year, sure beats the homogenized NRL.
