I read that Tago had MRI scans and showed 2 discs had moved in his back so I think he'll be out for 2 weeks.

      Brandon Tago
Tago was stretchered off in last weekend's NYC win over the Penrith Panthers at Allianz Stadium.
After being reviewed by medical staff and having scans, it has been revealed that Tago has an acute back injury.
He is expected to miss just two matches.

Good news re Tago Bumpa. It didn't look good when he got put on the stretcher last weekend. Thought it might be the season for him. And you're right he really was getting back to his best form, bumping the first defender off every run. Was taking a lot of charges the last few weeks too so his fitness might be improved from previous years. I think Tago would have an easier transition into first grade than Kane Evans cos of his build. He's 120kg and about 12cm shorter I'd reckon, and with the way he runs he'd be effective in the same way that Moa is, but also possesses a killer offload after the line.

On Willis Meehan I think he has to be lock or second row. He belts in defence and makes ridiculous metres every run up the middle. Milne is doing a fantastic job at right centre, i wouldn't be dropping him thats for sure.

I phoned the club about Mamary , I was wondering what happened to him myself, and I got a very strange reply from them, they told me he is back playing for the Kingsgrove Colts A grade side, I think they said, working on his fitness.I seen him play in the first trial against Manly at Gosford, and his fitness seemed ok to me, so not sure what is going on there.

Mamary has played the last 2 games for the 20s, he was coming back from an injury.

Thank goodness for young Brandon tago...he has had a wretched run with injury. Another long term one at this time could mess with him.

Where's this photo Fletch? Looked to me like he'd stacked on about 8 kgs to be around the 115kg mark so i would hope he would be back around the 108 mark before he returns. Anyone know what Taane Milne's dimensions are? He's got a great tackling technique and is so light on his feet, would be interested to know what weight he's playing at. He looks slender but isn't exactly small.

If we're talking about the same team photo I'm 99% sure it was taken pre-season.

Milne has some muscles for someone that I don't think has turned 18 yet.
He also has the drive and will power to succeed.

I don't think he will play many more games due to school commitments.

And importantly he is a "real" local junior as is Alex Thomas.

Milne has some growing do, but as you say he's not yet 18, so he will get there.

And yes, he undoubtedly has the goods IMO. All class...probably not the quickest, but looks to be a real footballer.

Yeah its a shame he doesn't have much speed (although he is quicker than I thought) cos I feel like his best chance to get a shot in first grade is on the wing when RTS moves to fullback. Although its quite obvious he is an out and out centre he is behind two very good young centres in Jennings and Moga, and thats if SKD isn't extended. Such a shame he won't be finishing the season with the 20s cos I love watching him play. To see a 17 year old centre with excellent tackling technique who constantly puts players on their arses in defence and leaves them clutching with his footwork in attack is truly something I love watching. There is a few boys this year who have very bright futures. Milne, Langi and Willis Meehan are future stars of the game. They have the all round games to make it through the tests of first grade and the raw talent to impress. All pledge their allegiance to NSW I hope!!

I know old buzzard features harped on about Moga, but I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Taane Milne will be better than Moga. He def has a better attitude and can defend

So is that the last we've seen of Taane this season in the 20s? I tell ya he'd do a damn sight better than SKD at right centre. Tackles with the shoulder and if Robbo can teach SKD to be half adequate in defence Milne would become one of the better centre defenders in the comp, ala Jennings. On Moga I think if Robbo has gotten his attitude right and he's bought into the team ethos then he has a good enough technique to be a good defender. I remember him in 20s man-handling opposition centres in defence. He'd often go in with good technique and end up spearing players cos he didn't know his own strength. Milne has the odd spear tackle in him as well, but i think its Mainly because his technique is so strong. Anyone heard anything on where Moga is at with his return? I know its wishful thinking that he'd be playing first grade soon but I seriously can't handle SKD any longer. His defence has improved but its still shit enough that SBW is constantly covering his arse. Seeings we're getting nothing from SKD in attack anyway would it just be worth putting Moga in after just a few games back. Imagine what Tau could do with some of the gifts SBW has delivered SKD with this year. Would Rhyse Martin be an option at right centre, he played his whole junior career as a centre. Maybe Langi might grab a spot there if he can impress when he comes into first grade during origin.

I see Milne and Meehan made the NSW under 18 team.

                              Great stuff fellas.
