Story on the official website about the NSW pathways squad where he's "considered a star of the future by the club". I'd take that as he's staying.

Hopefully, looks like Union are courting him pretty hard though.

He's currently over in Wales with the Union boys. Would be nice to have a genuinely talented local come through the system again.

agreed, but don't forget Alex Thomas (def a local) who despite the attitude of some (or one) at the club, seems to be doing pretty good.

Addison Demetroiu I hear is a good prospect and one to watch out for this year.

I'll second that comment about Addison Demetriou.

I heard big wraps first hand from a lower grade bulldogs coach I know. Talking with him 12 months ago I asked him "Give me one name of a stand out player in your lower grades, one name to keep an eye out for?" Without hesitating he mentioned Addison Demetriou. Said he was something special, that he's seen this kid win games on his own.

Also told me that he is a bit of a wild one off the field. (Google his name and see what I mean). Also told me of a weekend league carnival they were at where Addison apparently played up off the field, partying hard the night before games, breaking curfews etc. Played a handful of games and won 4 man of the match awards. I've since met up with the coach again and he is filthy the bulldogs lost patience with this kid and let him go.

I'm hoping our club can change this kid off field. Watch this space.
