they are fair enough points mack and footy and I actually tend to agree. To Pearcey's best mate , I agree in that towers developmentally has a long way to go but in terms of natural ability, he is the package. Can play make, has speed to burn, busts tackles and his support play is first class. On Mullaney, as much as I think he is going to be a great young player, dont forget that the kid has only emerged as a phenominal talent during the tigers' magical run into the finals - where was he before this period? Ill be honest, I had never heard of him prior to when he hit this great form patch and am not saying he isnt talented (quite the contrary) just showing you how towers has always been a threatening player all year in a team of nuffies where as it appears as if Mullaney has only come good now that the sun has come out - good team performances to get on the back of.

We dont need any fullbacks at this club - between blair, perrett, towers and te kiri, we are more than covered imo

An 18 year old who could not catch or tackle when I watched him play, a touch footballer and a 16 year old.. I wouldn't want to rely on that lot to back up Perrett.

ok that may have been the case - cant say I wasnt very very impressed with all three. When they hit firsts we can make a more informed judgement.

Cheyse Blair is a great player but I think he is at least a year out from playing NRL. Keanu Te Kiri is still very young so give him at least 3 years before he comes through but he is extremely talented and will shine in the SG Ball next season. Luke Towers is a great player but he can still improve a hell of a lot more and that's why I think we should keep him and give him a shot next year to see where he is at with his development. Then we've got Williamson, Linnett and Du Plessis who are still young that can slot into the centres and Moeakiola next in line on the wing. Great talent coming through in the backline and that's a sign for the future.
