Jets and the finals

The newtown jets went down to the canterbury dullbogs 34 to 30, which has demoted them to 5th on the ladder.
I thought this would be a bad thing but i would rather play wentworthville magpies first round instead of the inform , just rested cronullllla shire merged team.

So finger crossed the jets can improve in the finals

We haven't been nearly as good minus Mose, Morts, Tagive, etc etc, but i guess that was clearly going to affect us.

I hope we improve to have another shot on grand final day

at 34 - 24 with 10 or so mins to go, there was a feeling among the crowd that we'll just come from behind like we have done so many times in the past. At 34 - 30 even with a couple of minutes to go the hill was getting a bit rowdy and nervous, but still with an air of expectation. The last tackle options were poor and I'm sure Matto will be focussing on that in the coming week.
It was a deflated feeling at full time, especially as the crowd was buzzing after Friday night's win by the Chooks.
It was a big crowd and the line on the hill for beers was the longest I've seen in 5 years. There were a lot of thirsty people in that heat...
