Last weeks RLW featured these two (siblings?) photographed outside Roosters HQ with SBW. The Mole went on to describe how talented they are especially Latrell who represented NSW U16's in 2013.

I found this on youtube. I know Latrell is young and it's way too early to be making comparisons etc BUT based on this footage his playing ability reminds me of a young Inglis/Peachey. See for yourself. Good spotting POS

Wow he is impressive Gman!! The club definitely needs to do everything they can with his development! Watching that footage he does remind me of inglis. Really good aggressive defense to go along with his great talent with the ball and goal kicking, a very good package.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

    Here's looking at you, kid.

I heard back from a mate who went out to Kogarah last Fri night to watch our SG Ball squad play Illawarra. Both Mitchell bros played.

From his account, Latrell at fullback was outstanding and was by far the stand out. His prop forward brother Shaq punched holes through their defence every time with hit-ups however needs to work on his fitness.
He reckons our SG Ball team should go far however, as per usual our HMatts weren't as impressive and lacked class.

Good to hear Gman! Latrell definitely seems like a star player of the future. I hope the club does everything they can with his development to ensure that he reaches his full potential with us.

Hopefully his brother Shaq will progress along nicely as well.

Do you know if young Lam played in the HMatts? If so, any reports on how he went?

Its funny, I was speaking to one of the trainers the other day and the Matts absolutely smashed Illawara and in the first half the Sg BAll were getting towelled terribly

I didn't get a report on the HMatts game but in SG Ball we commenced the game with our 'B' side who i presume contained fellas trialing for a spot. Once we brought on our 'A" team the tide turned. Something like 28 Roosters players took the field for the Roosters. Not sure what the final squad number will be.

Junior reps kick off on 15/2/2014
