didnt we sign this young gun centre from newington college? whats happened since? is he in the 20s squad now, i can see him leaving our injury prone youngster in his wake? another rts?

Taane Milne is who you are thinking of maybe. He has been with the Roosters for a couple of years (a Clovelly Junior).
He played 20s last year for a few games until the GPS comp started.
His Centre partner at Newington was Tepai Morea who I think is contracted with PArra.
