Just got my "Mail" from a reliable government worker.

Harold Matthews and SG Ball will both be under the Roosters umbrella for the 2010 season and beyond !!!!

And Smith has introduced the GPS training to both these teams,as well as the Under 20's & First Grade...

And he has attended ALL the training sessions for the Ball so far..

            Attention to detail...

Something we missed BAAAAD over the last few years..

            I am warming to Smith..

I know we will improve next year

Although its old news its good news.
It shows a little shift in power too which is very important.
Noyce is big on junior development as is Smith. Bringing the HM and SGB teams back under the Roosters (as well as the 13/14/15 development sides) means they are getting their way. Its also a tribute to the success that these teams had , especially the HMs last year.

Its a change of the $ attitude to the football attitude.

Considering the Harrold Matts has to be 80% local juniors this is great news for our local competitions. The long term security of these rep teams is what will see our junior numbers continue to grow over the next few seasons.

Hopefully one of many steps to reconnect with the Eastern Suburbs community.

I think we have a dispensation on the 80%, certainly did last year.
But I agree that things are looking up or the junior ranks esp the intl age groups.
Also they have some incrediblely capable people associated with the junior rooster stuff.

gee there were some bloody good players there as well, one fullback in particular was sensational and this islander kid centre/backrower with a ponytail was a stand out.

let us know what you want done with marli, esp with the development team etc, if he had too he would travel to play local but his mums a bit worried about the train trips etc, he wants to be a rooster and was very unlucky at just 13 to miss the cut.

Do you guys need a half???

What are the clubs in our junior ranks these day's, besides Bondi United And Paddo / Woollahra?

I'd love to see more teams in our area.
