  • any reports from jets win over wenty?

Jets have been struggling but must have played very well to beat Wentworthville on the weekend.

    Anyone got dirt on this?

I missed the game but was one of the 47 easts fans who went to pirtek stadium on Saturday.

Did you see any of the 20's mate?

Apparently it was a great comeback with Milne playing very well.

Fitzy the 20's boys came from 30-4 down to win 46-34 or something along those lines.

        Defence is non existant.

Milne was excellent Fitzy. I arrived when we'd just gotten back to 30-24 down with a Milne try. His second (?) try was unbelievable. He received the ball on the 4th ten metres out and they had literally 5 players on him quicksmart but he drove all the way to the line and somehow got the ball down. Sure that isn't going to happen in first grade but it was still was quite amazing. If he and Moga can stay injury-free and play to their potential they could make a great combination on the right side. Milne has an uncanny ability to offload to his winger after drawing in the opposition winger and Moga would be unstoppable with that much space given his strength and finishing ability.

In a few years I can see a backline of Latrell Mitchell, Daniel Tupou, Michael Jennings, Taane Milne, Tau Tau Moga, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Mitchell Pearce. There is some talent there. But if they all live up to their potential which is obviously a massive if then you would expect players like Tupou and Moga to be poached by other clubs to play centre. And then where does Jackson Hastings fit. He looks the goods from what I've seen so far.
