I heard Boyd busted his knee at training. Does anyone know if it's true as I also heard he will be out for the season.

If this is true..that's absolutely ****ed mun.

I had high hopes for this kid in 2010. Our season couldn't be off to a worse start than this. Three major injuries already and we havent even kicked off the season.

Might have to bring out the special magic dust brothers.

injury has been confirmed on roosters website, in the injury news section

            Boyd Cordner
Promising young talent Boyd Corder will miss the 2010 season after blowing his ACL at preseason training.

The 17-year-old backrower suffered his second serious knee injury, this time to the oppositie knee, and will need a reconstruction. More to come...

A blessing in disguise for him. He would of been chucked into FG too soon and ended up burning out.

There are some really dumb things posted here but that my friend is right up there with the dumbest

You've obviously never had a serious knee injury before, there is never a good time

Like most blokes who have knee reconstructions, it will be a year out of the game and a year playing at a level much lower than their talent would suggest while they regain confidence

The only thing that eases this blow is the fact the recons are so good these days that most players actually get back to their best after that second year.
