  • Boyd Cornder injured or not?

On nrl.com, It had an article with Ryles talking about our pack, and in one point it said this:

The 31-year-old former Test front-rower has been impressed with young Roosters Tom Symonds and Boyd Cordoner, who could be called upon to join the likes of Mitchell Aubusson, Frank-Paul Nuuausala, Lopini Paea, Daniel Conn and Nick Kouparitsas in a no-name pack.

Does that mean he isn't injured, or mistake?

i think a mistake, more along the lines of "when he is avaliable, he can be called on"

          from the Herald

The Roosters' back-row stocks had already been depleted by the departures of Craig Fitzgibbon to England and Willie Mason to North Queensland in the off-season, a season-ending ACL injury to teenage second-rower Boyd Cordoner last month and a shoulder injury that will keep recruit Jared Waerea-Hargreaves out until round five.

Add to that the injury to Cherrington which looks like some extended time on the side lines.

But we'll still smash the filty Vermin feral rodents and your fave toothless gummies.

although this quote from Smith suggests it wasn't his shoulder

''Boyd is having his second knee operation - he did the other one last year - so Boyd at 18 has got to talk 'Cherro' through it.''

I asked about Boyd Cordner on the weekend and a club official confirmed to me he had knee surgery. They have high hopes that 2011 will be his year. Hopefully he can maintain his committment and not fade away due to these consecutive injuries. Although he is not that type of kid and will be eager to come back bigger and stronger in 2011.

Ironically, Foxsport should footage last week of our boys training and Boyd was running in the background!

If i am reading the quote from the herald correctly (which i think you didn't), An ACL injury is a knee injury, it states that boyd had the knee injury and JWH had the shoulder injury.

So can you tell me where on earth you though smith mentioned that Corder had a shoulder injury? or do you need help?

I confused ACL with AC joint, my mistake

                          now calm down...
