Tafuga Sa really impressed in the trials. Very quick and can definately sniff out the line.

Personally I would prefer to see JP in the centres and Cheyse Blair on the wing. With Matt Hands injured, they need to put Jacob Miller at five-eighth - Littlejohn doesn't suit that position well at all.

jp is a natural centre and although not league savvy yet, he can kick tackle and run as well as the best?

Does anyone have a list of the injured NYC player how long they will be out for?

I know Boyd Cordner is gone the season
Numerous players have not bee sighted so far.

                Tom Pelo
                John Leiataua
                Jerome Leolahi
                Fine Moeakiola

Tim Burrell hasn't been sighted either.

I was informed that John Leiataua has been released for disciplinary indiscretions. Leolahi, Pelo and Moeakiola are injured. Leolahi is a very good player, and I cannot wait for him to return.

I agree completely with both statements. In regards to playing JP Du Plessis in the centres, I would love to see that but the only reason I think it hasn't happened yet is because Du Plessis at this stage might not fully understand the game properly to be able to make good defensive reads in defence for a centre. But he showed great touches last weekend and IMO O'Sullivan has bought us a gem in this kid.

Jacob Miller needs to be brought up into that 6 spot as Littlejohn seems to be a bit lost but that was just based on last weekend. In the trial against Parra he played 6 and went very well.

                        Fine Moeakiola
This is the info I could get:

Tom Pelo returned to the full training last week and was named on an extended bench last weekend but didn't play.

John Leiataua was released for disciplinary decisions.

Jerome Leolahi has a shoulder injury and is due back in Round 7-8. He will be great to have back once he is fit again and I've been told Brian Smith likes the look of him and was impressed with him in the Atherton trial. Also told Smith thinks he can make it into the NRL by next year.

Fine Moeakiola had a shoulder reconstruction at the end of last season and is due back in Round 4-5. Was told Brian Smith rates him a better prospect than Cheyse Blair.

Samson Manu'a has had knee surgery and is due back in a month or two. He will be good when fit as it seems we're short on front rowers with Boyd Strickland playing there.

Lepuha Paseka has been out injured for a while and will be back around Round 6-7. He will bolster the front row stocks as well and he has been impressing apparently.

Was informed Andrew Haines has been released. The reasons I was told were that there were too many backs.

                              Hi footy,

Any news on what's happened to Grant Nelson? He was one of the regulars last year.

Also, where is Chris Thomas (Bulldogs), Olomanu Usini (Eels) and the 2 kids from the Gold Coast, Lain Windley & Danny White? They were all positive new signings but don't seem to have got a game yet.
