I think we need to cut Scott Murray some slack. He has coached some successful sides in the younger grades and the performance in the second half last night in the NYC game was probably a better indication of what he is trying to build. I say give him until the middle of the year and judge then.

Ethan Lowe is a machine. Huge ticker and gets through a mountain of work.

He isn't alone with this technique in the NYC team. Tonight Ethan Lowe imho was head and shoulders the best player (I did miss the first 25 minutes admittedly) whilst Sam Brunton looked dangerous at dummy half. I also liked what Fine Moeakiola did with limited opportunities.
I liked Ethan Lowe from last year. With our injury crisis do you think he is any chance of getting a run in 1 st grade ?

          What sucessful teams ?
I agree with you about cutting him some slack, mainly due to the nature of the NYC. But all I know is he coached junior Roosters side and there has not been any success what so ever before HMs last year for a long long time

If he keeps up his current form, I see no reason why he won't get a run in first grade, especially with the injury toll we have got at the moment.

In 2007 he coached the SG Ball side to within one game of the grand final and then won it the following year. He is a good coach IMO and currently our NYC side is sitting in 4th spot so he must be doing something right.

He's also won a stack of Arrive Alive Cups.

He was also a talented player just unfortunate to have Mark Murray as his coach. If he hit grade when Gould was around he may have turned out a better player.

Saw him play schoolboy rugby for Randwick Boys in 1990 against St Josephs who had a gun side. He nearly beat them on his own.
