Once again, looks very good on paper........if only they could put in a consistent 80 minute performance.

I would still be switching Du Plessis and Moeakiola. Otherwise, I like it. Namoa has been a surprisingly good player, and Gelling has been very strong in his transition from centre to backrow.

We are yet to see Jared Allen, Adam Brent, Ben Brooks, Tim Burrell, Nick Dorante, Asipeli Fine, Lou Goodwin, Jake Grace, Reece Jaeger, Samson Manua, Tom Morrison, Lephua Paseka, Sam Smith, Keanu Te Kiri, Danny White and Lain Windley figure this season.

I know Jerome Leolahi is injured and Jacob Miller is playing SG Ball, but which of these other players are playing SG Ball, which have left us, and which are just waiting in the wings?

        Mack,
i believe Te Kiri suffered an arm injury last week against the Eagles which brings his SG Ball season to an end.
Asipeli is playing centres for the SG Ball team.
I read somewhere that Danny White has returned home (Qld) on compassionate reasons.

Rumor has it Jake Friend will play in the NYC this weekend...

I doubt it but lets hope.

They look quite strong on paper, and you'll be able to add the likes of Jake Friend and most likely Ben Jones when players such as Tom Symonds, Jared Wearea-Hargreaves, Jason Ryles and Martin Kennedy return. They'll be very hard to beat once they learn how to defend. They have no problem scoring tries though, just look at the names in the backline.

I saw our NYC team play on the weekend and JP Du Plessis looks very uncomfortable. He didn't seem to know what was going on but his attack was solid. I'm not too sure about switching him and Moeakiola. IMO Moeakiola was one of our best last week and he outshone Ryan Williamson. I'd be leaving it as it is.

On the players you mentioned who haven't featured in the NYC yet, here's what I could find out.

              Jared Allen - SG Ball
              Dane Atkinson - SG Ball
              Adam Brent - SG Ball
              Ben Brooks - Released
              Tim Burrell - Released
              Nick Dorante - SG Ball
              Asipeli Fine - SG Ball
Jake Grace - Hasn't been selected
Reece Jaegar - Hasn't been selected
              Samson Manu'a - Injured
              Lepuha Paseka - Injured
Keanu Te Kiri - SG Ball
              Danny White - Released
              Lain Windley - Released

We have a pretty fierce SG Ball side.

Jared Allen, Dane Atkinson, Adam Brent, Nick Dorante, Asipeli Fine, Keanu Te Kiri, Sam Smith are already strong players. Add in Jacob Miller, Cheyse Blair, and a fully fit Boyd Cordner...they would all be selected in the team. Very very impressive.

If all these guys were fully fit and playing in the SG Ball competition, we'd probably take it out by all means. They would be very, very hard to beat. If Boyd Cordner played, it would be a man amongst kids.

Atkinson would have already featured in NYC at 11/12 or possibly 3/4 but has to wait the year out because of Scots Rugby Commitments, same as Asipeli at Waverley.
