Good Luck Boys, you have made us all proud by the way you have played the game to date and you are obviously such a tight group of mates who play for each other,.....I've been to most of your games over the last 3 years and after a quarter final finish by 1 try at the hands of the Dogs in 16's, same 1 try last year when most played as u/17's again by the dogs in the quarters, bring it on this Sat....this is your year!

        Hey Scruffy,

in your opinion, apart from Jacob Miller & Blair, who else in this squad has the potential to play first grade?
I believe Dane Atkinson and Tau Tau Moga go alright too.

        Cheers

Tough question, it would also depend on the club they were in and who was in front of them. My three are Blair(1,2,3,4,5), Atkinson(3,4,11,12) and Miller(6or7). Miller is an excellent passer/goal kicker/play maker, Atkinson is an excellent edge defender/line breaker/in Creagh mould, Balir is excellent with the ball in hand.

            Thanks for the info Scruffy.
Sounds like Ethan Lowe and Dane Atkinson are similar type players.
Fingers crossed & all things going to script, can you imagine them two playing in the back row and Cordner locking the scrum. Looking good .

Last year the three of them played together, Lowe at 8 or 10, cordner and Atkinson in 2nd row, they were a lethal combo and all three of them are bigger now than our current FG 2nd row, Atkinson is 6'4" with legs like PGallen, ethan is 6' 4# and big all over and Boyd is 6' 2" and as wide as a house up top. I think Roosters fans will be in for a pleasan surprise if just 1 or 2 of these guys hit their straps in a few years. Keeping them will be the trick.

Dane Atkinson, Asipeli Fine and Keanu Te Kiri would be the other notable players who have the potential to play first grade.

20 - 12 in favour of Wests at half-time after the boys lead 12 - 2 after 14 minutes, disappointing leakage of 18 straight points.

                          Easts 27 def Wests 26.

AMAZING, boys were down 26 - 12 with 20 or so to go and pull it out of nowhere.

It was a terrible 20 - 35 minute period for the side. There was lack of energy and the Wests tries were from kicks that the fullback or winger just didn't contest.

                            Parramatta looked strong, very strong.

                            Will be hard to beat.

Parra 18's are slick with the ball and look great when things are a one way street, while they look great in 18's, I doubt very few of their players will covert to FG. They have some defensive issues in the forwards, they play most games wide of the ruck, their half back is lightning quick and they shift the ball really well when numbers are in their favour. Our RHS defense which has been suspect all year will need to be on its game if we are to win. Another great team effort today, two tries to wests from bombs probably put them in a better score board position than they deserved. Our LHS was once again starved of the ball in attack and our marker defense was at times poor. We defended really well on our line, but gave field position away too easy through the mid 50m zone. Excellent game from Miller, the last try was an all time 5th tackle classic, last pass #11 through the line to Brent to score was a show stopper. Jacob Miller needs another pivot to share the responsibility with. His last minute field goal and general kicking is FG standard, I think he is the real deal. Well done boys, 1 game to go!

Thanks for all the updates and info scruffy, -RnB- and others - great work.
Where and when can I go see the SG Ball GF to support the Roosters?
