in all honestly i dont think that Bennett will be planning his tactics whether carney is there or not, they have the same plan each week and that is around there defense, strangle the opposition out of the game by making sure that they cant score and create mistakes.
As for us its simple as another psoter said forget about what we can do to soward and go out there and play to our strenthgs and make there big boppers work hard early on and when it seems thay are labouring and are hands on hips then send JWH in.
Carney will be there its a big game you cannot afford to lose momentum in this game if we cannot go close to matching it with these sides. If Carney needs a rest it's against the cows especially as J.T isnt there then blood someone new.

I don't think Saints have a lot of points in them unless we roll over. Their specialty is to suffocate teams with good possession and low error rates.

With Smith not playing, their right side attack is shot.

As long as we shut down their pet play down the left side(hornby to creagh with Boyd as an option) we will go a long way to winning the game.
Our focus needs to be on securing the pill, completing sets with a good kick and having a quick kick chase. No need to get fancy.

If we do that, the points will come.

Agree that we need to do the little things right however I believe that a few magic plays will be needed to get us across the line in this one.
