Today the SG Ball team took another step forward with a stunning 28 to 16 win over the Minor Premiers Cronulla. Shooting out to a 12 nill lead early the boys looked the goods and the Sharks huge forwards looked done for speed when the Sharks started to come back look all over our boys who appeared to tire and they let the Sharks back to a 12 all before the Sharks went ahead 16 to 12 ar which time the game stgnated a little as both sides looked for the assendancy which came when the Roosters scored to make it 16 all to then step it up in the last quarter of the game to come home with two tries for the final score of 28 to 16.
Players who stood out to me were Jacob Miller who was in the 6 but looked to be playing Half. Chayse Blair who was in the 23 shirt who appeared to be playing the 5/8 roll. Tau Tau Moga Centre who was quite sharp and came looking for work when the going got tough. Also the big boys of the pack all worked realy hard to contain the huge Cronulla pack.
It was a fun game to be at and these boys look realy good and I hope they make their Grand Final
Next week these boys will play at St Marys again so look out for the game time and try to add your voice to the support of these young Roosters
