  • Roosters Premiers SG Ball

It was a great game as the boys came from 12 nil down to then go in with a great try just before the half time whistle to put them up 16 to 12 at half time
to then not be headed till the fulltime whistle. Parra put on a hail mary play at the end to make the score line look better.

A big Congratulations to the SG Ball boys for their great effort to come from eight to win the Grand Final

Great stuff. Always good to win in lower grades. Hopefully some of these can kick on.

      Who is coach?

That is a sensational effort, to be honest.

Parramatta have been awesome in Ball, they would have been red hot favourites to win.

Adam Brent and Daniel Arona were great up front.............Jacob Miller had a super game at 7 and Paul Rokalati on the wing bagged 3 tries...
Brilliant game and well deserved win...

And it was great to meet the families of some of the boys.....we had the pleasure of meeting the big brother of young Tau Tau Mogo, who had jumped on a plane from QLD early this morning to come and watch his kid brother play....
And Paul Rokakati's grandad was an awesome man......a terrific afternoon for all concerned.....

It was also really nice to see Mr Noyce himself sitting in the stands...and Ryan Williamson and co who turned up also......as well as a few familiar faces who travelled from the East to cheer the boys on....

Brian & Rohan Smith were also in attendance. They have helped the boys out enormously over the season.

Congrats to the boys. Parra were supposed to be this hot shot team, and once again... had their pants pulled down on the day.

            Great Win!!

The better one's like Blair and Miller will go into the Toyota Cup squad. The rest will go back and ploay school footy and with their club sides.

For those interested, here are some great SG Ball GF photos taken by my rather unhappy Eels supporting mate ...
