I agree with the theory that it is just a NSW Cup game and you just don't know who is up for the game and who doesn't give a shit on the day.

But I think Towers has played well for Newtown all year and if the opportunity arose for him to play fullback in first grade, I feel he has probably earned a shot to see if he is upto it. I think other positions are pretty much covered and if we do end up with Dugan, he may be moved on.

This Towers guy would be better as a fullback than a winger, as a winger his potential is limited to the sideline, he needs to get involved more with support play and kick returns.. Would be even more deadly.

              From the semi-reliable Wikipedia:
Luke is playing in the 'reserve grade' comp of French rugby league side Limoux Grizzlies .
Same side as the washed-up ex nrl Daniel Wagon LOL.

Its only reserve grade in that its the level below the super league.
I also believe he is out at the moment with a busted shoulder

Yet another lower grade "superstar" pushed by some on here.

He was crap - that's why he never made it.

                      Ah Pump,
he was close to having it. I would have loved nothing more than for his to make it.
I think his biggest downfall was size.

It was a similar situation for me when I was trying to crack it for the big time many years ago. In my case however, my biggest downfall was my general lack of ability.

That's what always stopped me, both in sporting and sexual endeavours.

This is what i'm worried about when it comes to Wells and some of the other young prospective fullbacks we have. I can't comment about Wells as i have not seen much of him at all, but those of us on here who have i would love to hear your thoughts on whether Wells or others in our ranks really do have what it takes to be a really good 1st grader? We can't afford not to be 100% confident in their abilities, otherwise we will need to buy someone who will do the job!

Another player who was a potential fullback that springs to mind was Foley. Quite a few were saying that he was going to be the one to take over from Mini but look where he is now, playing rugby 7's, hardly a raging success!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                            Here's looking at you, kid.

Don't ever let Megan hear you say that or you'll never be a chance!
