The game was on Fox today. He was terrible aside from a runaway try in which he picked up a loose ball.

Twice he was beaten at the back without even landing a hand on the player.

        Let an easy bomb bounce.

        Made a few errors.

Didn't really add anything to the backline imo.

The judges must of been watching with their backs turned because Arona was the best on field.

Also, it was interesting to see Foran play hooker. He moved there when JAubs came off and Newtown immediately clicked into gear.

I don't mind Ben Jones at fullback. I recall him playing there in first grade at the beginning of last season and he done quite well. He doesn't have to defend and he chimes into the backline very well. I'd much prefer him at fullback than at centre. Although, I think Luke Towers deserves first shot at fullback before Jones.

I think people are reading way too much into it... it's just typical Brian Smith.

He has his favourites based on attitude, training and generally that extra bit of flair. He'll do his best to get as many of these players into the team as possible, even if it means playing them out of position. At least that's what I read into it, I don't think it has anything to do with potential signings.
