Hey Situation - thankls for that. Someone mentioned we were looking a young kid from the NZ U20's. Do you know who?

The rumour is that we were looking at Sebastine Ikhahihifo, the Warriors U20's lock.

Very aggressive and explosive ball-runner, good defender too. A very strong player but without any real standout features.

We have signed one of the top 5 NYC props in Lama Tasi (the others being Martin Taupau, Sam Kasiano, Tariq Sims and Evrett Vaurasi), who is the big signing IMO.

But then again, last year Tinirau Arona was one of the top 5 NYC props (alongside Trent Merrin, Siosaia Vave, Martin Taupau and Jesse Bromwich) and yet he didn't feature in any first grade games this season. The four other players featured in the NRL season, as did other impressive prospects Leeson Ah Mau, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Andrew Fifita and Sam McKendry.

Just a question, what happened to David Hala? Was outstanding for Broncos in the U20s last year, impressed in his first grade appearance, but I've seen/heard very little of him this year.

        So no extra leg then?

He's the type of player we need I think. We have a lot of game breakers but we are short aggressive ball runners.

I hope we keep Matt Hands. He was looking good when I last saw him play. He'd be good depth for our first choice halves. Disappointed we've let Fine Moeakiola go. I thought he had some real potential. Although he is frequently injured which is the problem I suspect. Brad Manton is another who has impressed me. Very similar player to Mark Kheirallah from what I've seen of him. Good, strong ball runner with great footwork. I'd like to see him at Newtown.

I was wondering the same just the other day. David Hala was going very well last year when he was playing NYC but seems to have dropped off the radar this year. I rated him highly.

Hala picked up a neck injury earlier this year, apparently he's pretty lazy at training...
