    These guys haven't kicked on as such/yet but in the past 3-4 yrs;
    Ben Jones, Boyd Cordner, Arana Taumata, Adam Reynoldson (Soufffs).

    From what i can gather the outerstate, interstate & NZ recruits kids are offered the chance to move to Sydney to live/study. That's how MSH School comes into it, much like Westfields is the breeding ground for Parra.

      As I said, those kids aren't from Matraville, they were brought from other areas and then placed there. I am sure the club will find an alternative arrangement. I am sure they considered all aspects. Whether Taylor is the right guy, the jury is out. I am not sold on him as I was with Brian Smith but prepared to give him a chance.

        who cares?

        he doesn't get to keep his job as 20s coach on the basis of having an affiliation with a school

        Jason Taylor is a great acquisition

          If his pupils and their families/managers have any ounce of intelligence they'd realise that being being herded into the direction of the Vermin is a a not a great career move, and make their own arrangements.

            He's taken the Souths U20s job after Kidwell went to Melbourne to assist Bellamy.

              Very poetic....his coaching career panned out the same way his playing career did - starting at Easts then transferring to Souths.

                I would assume that nothing will change at Matraville SH as the Roosters have invested a bit of money there upgrading their sporting facilities

                    Cannot think of anyone of note that has gone from easts to LOL Souffs that came out the other end any better.

                    What a career killer

                      so, so true. The Yak (Cusack) continued to play well there. He was a hard toiler, no frills but played consistently solid footy each game.

                      They've always picked up our players after we got the best of them i.e Fletcher, Rigon, Hegarty, Russo, Wing.

                      Apart from Luke Stuart,Asotasi, Burgess & Isaac Luke they've always bought shit players. Best, Crocker, Wesser & Crossman have failed to play better footy at Souths than their previous clubs.
