I rate Jones highly, I would've had him on the bench this year tbh... can't see a future for him now though with Brunton & Watts signing. Probably get a game during the origin period.

First utility player picked as far as I was concerned until we signed Watts. Now I'm not so sure. I thought he was going to be our long term hooker in about 2-3 years time. My guess is he won't be with us once his contract is up. Would be a great pickup for the Sharks or Raiders I think should he leave.

Yeah Jones is a great talent, just very inconsistent.

I easily rate him over Brunton but not Watts.

Not just that but he's been stuffed around with, lost count of how many different positions he has played. Reminds me a lot of Soward's time at the Roosters. He's got obvious talent, loves the chooks and is sitting on a 4 year contract... tough decision is going to have to be made soon. I don't think he'll succeed anywhere else bar 5/8 or possibly in a utility role both of which we already have more senior players in and classy players at that.

i saw them training at mascot oval, Ben Jones droped five simple passes. Towards the end of the traning session he limped of the field, hopefully he takes to the field against the jr kiwis.

He played quite a bit there originally in the NYC Team and was woeful.
