Tau Tau is still with the Roosters. not sure why he is not on Under 20's. His Australian School Boy Team mate Henare Wells is in the team. Good Luck to Tau Tau and Henare. Tau Tau is the next Izzy for sure and can jump as high as Izzy! Henare has great agility and out step his opponent, he's a quality Full Back, just needs to get a little bigger, but that will just take time.Originally posted by rooster8888 View PostComment

TAUTAU Moga will face many hurdles in his career but few more defining than how he reconciles his chosen path with his religion.
The St Peter Claver College student has been picked in the Australian Schoolboys squad to tour the UK and France at the end of the year. That follows a starring role in Queensland’s run to the final of the national schools rugby league championships at the Gold Coast last week.
Moga didn’t rate his chances of selection, even though it was his season’s main goal, after he missed the first game of the tournament.
Fortunately, he played the next four games, scoring two tries in the semi-final win over NSW Combined Catholic Colleges and another in the final, which Queensland lost to NSW Combined High Schools 29-12.
The final loss came as a shock as Queensland won their earlier clash 28-16.
“It was very disappointing because we thought we were going to win because we beat them on the Monday.”
Moga concedes Queensland’s over-confidence was part of their undoing.
But the towering centre had the consolation of getting picked to represent his country and felt he played near his best, despite being shown up a couple of times by his opposite number in the final.
“I’m just grateful and thankful I’m in the side,” Moga said.
The reason Moga missed Queensland’s first game of the tournament is it was played on Sunday.
The devout Mormon does not play on the Sabbath but it is something he is reviewing.
Having ticked his number one goal for 2010, making the Australian Schoolboys tour, off the list, Moga’s next mission is to earn a spot in the Sydney Roosters’ under-20 team next season.
“It gave me a lot of confidence,” he said of his national team selection.
“Just playing against other teams and learning a lot of stuff.”
He has already won an SG Ball (under-18) competition with the Roosters this season and is comfortable returning to the Bondi-based club.
If there was one area Moga felt needed work before then, it was his defence, particularly his communication in defence.
“I just need to work a little bit on defence and try and get bigger in the gym,” he said. “I’m not that quiet, just quiet in defence.”
The Roosters have not put any pressure on Moga about playing Sundays, but it will come back to conversations he has with his biggest influence – his mum. “I spoke to Mum about it and I think I might play on Sundays,” he said.
Tua Moga was probably more excited than her son when she found out he’d made the Australian School- boys team. “She was crying and gave me a big hug and a kiss,” Tautau said.
Leaving the family home at Bellbird Park for Sydney at the end of the year might be tough – if not for Moga then definitely for his mum. “She said she’s going to cry when I leave,” he said.
What an exciting prospect with clear aspirations.
