20th Minute: Phill Graham and Justin Carney are looking dangerous outwide but the Jets forwards can't seem to get them in the right field position for them to sneak some points.

43rd Minute: Lama Tasi has found his range. The big unit is really running riot out there now. He is terrorising the Centurions fringe defence. The game has opened up a bit here.

46th Minute: TRY Johnathan Ford takes off from where Chris Enahoro left. The big five-eighth forces his way over and the Jets hit the lead. Justin Carney converts and the Jets now lead 16-10.

Hopefully it won't be long before Tasi gets his chance in first grade.

Great to hear Tasi is playing well.

52nd Minute: TRY Following a brilliant interchange between Lama Tasi and Chris Enahoro, Steve Noughton crosses out wide. Conversion unsuccessful, Newtown 20 lead Centurions 10

Does he have a bit of ball playing in him?

BTW sounds like Enahoro is having a blinder. Never heard of him.

Tasi is noted for having some good ball skills.. Enahoro played one First Grade game for Souths in 2005.

                    Link's in the first post.

It looks like Newtown will lose with a couple of late tries.

So the team tomorrow should be the same as last week with Symonds playing today. I thought he deserved a spot based on his first game against the bunnies and our poor performance last week.

                      Whoops... cheers.

Damn, Jets went down. Bit disappointing seeing as they had Conn, Symonds, Ford, Graham, Tasi, Mataka and Carney.
Yeah Symonds was ripped. Conn... what's the deal? He's a Jet for good now it seems?

Let's see how our forwards aim up tomorrow. Some are probably on their last chance after the illdiscipline of the last couple of weeks. I wonder if Tasi will be given a shot before Conn though.

Smith is beginning to worry me. After Symonds great game v Redfern Scum and the accolades he received in that match from the media, I would have thought that after last weeks performance, he may have brought Symonds into 1st grade. Is Smith being a little stubborn? I think so.

                              Who would you drop?

Symonds himself said after round 1 that with Carney coming back it would be understandable if he was the one to make way, and rightly so, one good performance dosen't seal your spot in a team that made the grand final the year before.
