    Blake Lazarus

    Just was wondering guys i herd off a friend blake lazarus was at newtown jets and was doing really well has any one got out to see newtown play? i remember seeing him play but was playing fullback now i seen his name at 7? is he top squad?

    I have only seen him twice on the foxtel replays. Looks like he has a pretty good footy brain. Has a very good left foot step which got him a try. I thought he was playing 6, but maybe you are right and he was at 7. I think he was with the Tigers and they let him go after he had a bad injury. I dont know how old he is but he looked pretty solid IMO. His build is similar to Brett Finch.

      yeh i dunno i herd he is doing well do you think he might get a go?? ill have to get out to watch a game could be an option to replace mini at 1 mabye? what you think?

        I have never seen him play fullback. He plays like a 5/8 to me. He is a pretty decent size and I would prefer anyone to Mini at fullback IMO. Todays fullback must have the ability to play like another 5/8 and Mini does not. And yes all you Mini lovers I also love what he has done for our club over the years. He is a champion bloke and clubman. But there is no room for sympathy anymore. He is past it.

          providence to the fore, a descent player has turned up, by the way hes carving up the games at the jets it must be a matter of time before he gets a run in easts fg, maybe even at fback?1/2 season to go then its trials time again!

            yeh i just wanted to see what people thought as i see he back good luck to the kid hope he does well,i hope ya right its not to long to we see him in grade ill try get out there to watch him play saturday if i can!! hope ya right could repalce mini mabye good to see rhys pritchard up there on the wing good luck to the kid!! go roosters!

              Mini is a good fullback.
              He'd be even better if he ran forward a whole lot more instead of backwards and sideways.
              ...and stopped throwing dumb passes.
