I liked the look of him a lot. I'd like to see him and Guerra duking it out for that lock-forward position vacated by Myles next year.

    If Anasta stays:

    8. Kennedy, 9. Friend, 10. Hargreaves, 11. Anasta, 12. Aubusson, 13. Cordner/Guerra, BENCH: Symonds, Nuuausala, Masoe, Ryles

    If Anasta leaves:

    8. Kennedy, 9. Friend, 10. Hargreaves, 11. Symonds, 12. Aubusson, 13. Cordner/Guerra, BENCH: Mataka, Nuuausala, Masoe, Ryles

...and if Ryles leaves, I wouldn't mind seeing more of Tasi again. He looked very impressive in his early stints. Sure, Guerra and Cordner aren't as good as Ryles, but both look talented enough, and so long as they can make plenty of yards and push to make around 30 tackles a game, I'm sure we will be fine.

Thanks to all those who posted their thoughts on Boyd's game. Exciting times ahead it seems.
I still haven't seen the game unfortunately.

I see shades of young fitzy in attack as well. The young fitz was actually very quick.

If he develops fitzy's work rate and heart, we will have one fine player on our hands!

Both Cordner and Tasi look fine long term prospects.

Has there been any more whispers of Boyd returning home to Newcastle?

Hoping he stays for many years to come. If injuries are kind to him in the future, will become a superstar.

After his debut I'm sure Tinkle Toes gave him a call to find out how his bank account is looking.
