Ah well, if you cant pull a root at the Golden Sheaf you may as well swallow your pride and get a cab to the Palace i suppose.

Maybe Smithy has plans for Pritchard to play in the centres in first grade for mataka, minni will be fullback ,perrett on one wing, bj the other Pritchard and carney the two centres.otherwise why wouldn't Pritchard be playing fullback over Kheirallah ?

Really looking forward to some 2011 vintage carnage in this game

Crabbing across field and getting smashed
Late passes after support has overran bouncing off chests
Dropped balls from having a look at the oncoming defenders
Dropping off tackles left right and centre
Not kicking goals and putting in thunderous grubbers over the deadball

Should ensure the jets score a first grade standard 13 points or so

Oh please! The guy is finding 1st grade too hard. Maybe he should go back to the Atherton Chooks every second year to recharge. No sympathy from me!

or he could have just sat on his arse and done nothing this weekend..........I don't think he is looking for your sympathy Roc, moreso looking for form to help him in first grade.

Mataka was the turning point in the Storm game. Carney was playing well and Mataka dropped a simple pass which would have given us a try under the sticks. He dropped another a bit later and Carney gave up trying.

For all the detractors, Carney has been doing some good things and created chances. It is our slow and useless outside backs which are limiting our attacking options and butchering every half chance. I have lost count how many time our outside backs have had an overlap and too slow to turn it into a try.

i agree thats its a good positive step from carney and he has made a sacrafice to an extent but im also with ROC, he wouldnt have to be making this decision if he had done what he was supposed to. in the end it is the very least he can do.
