To be honest I can't think of a player in the starting 13 you wouldn't want signed up. In fact we are one of the few top u/20 teams that aren't dominated by top age-kiwi man-childs. They have both skill out wide and grunt in the middle(most forwards are u/19), they have been playing like seasoned footballers since the Storm game that they lost mid week 20-28. It's no surprise why this crew plus a few extras, took out the SG Ball in 2010, they are winners. Keeping them together will not be easy, we have some of the best backrowers, frontrowers, backs and halves in the comp. It's not worth naming names, it's insulting for those not named, they all play a role, no superstars, some weeks some players only tackle, other weeks they run the ball, others play a more balanced game, whatever needs to be done for the team to win. They defended their line like men possessed last weekend, had no ball, got screwed by the refs and a vocal home crowd who knew more about soccer than RL and still won. Few of these boys dominate the top stats for the NYC, most of the top stat holders are from lesser teams that won't even make the playoffs, funny that.Last edited by scruffy; 08-16-2011, 06:57 PM.
