  • Tau Tau Moga already 36 tries this season

the guy is a dead set freak

17 tries in 12 NYC games and
19 tries in 9 SG Ball games

shame his season could be done if Yak is correct, Moga was involved in a fairly nasty spear tackle tonight, judiciary slammed Blair this year for 6 weeks for a spear tackle.

Smith obviously thinks he is something special, only the age restriction stopped him from playing first grade this year

I just wish the club would come out and say he is under contract long term, would be one of the few bright spots from a horror year.

Freakish, you guy makes the difficult look very easy

A very good judge told me at the start of the season, Forget how the 20's are going until the flegg and ball players come in, there are some very special players in key positions, he was spot on the money, i wish i had of got on the chooks 20s at 151/1 10 weeks ago.

How's his defence? Considering we already have a brilliant attacking centre who is an awful defender, I'd love a decent defensive centre.

He is a lot better than Kenny-Dowall defensively. Solely due to the fact he uses his shoulders. Needs to work on his reading of the play to be a solid defender in first grade but measures up easily in defence in NYC. He's also very strong in a tackle and a few times last night he was stopping the player with the shoulder and was able to swiftly throw them onto their back to get a slow play the ball.

One thing did worry me about him last night though. Early in the first half he either copped a head knock or got badly winded. Next set we knocked the ball on off a bomb under our posts and Parra full set on our line. As the scrum was being played Moga was still on his haunches taking a breather right in line with where the Parra backline was lining up. They spread it to that side from the scrum and it would have been a try if not for some good work from Rokolati who shifted to in to smother the centre. Then, a couple of minutes later we were attacking the Eels line and Moga was still back on our 20 doing his shoe laces up as casual as you like after talking to the trainer. Was a very strange first half from him and a little bit worrying for mine. Parra were actually ahead at this stage so his team really needed him to step up.

Unfortunately, barring a miracle it also looks as though he'll be suspended for the rest of the season for a spear tackle after he dropped a Parra player head first into the ground with his body in a vertical position.

Talking to someone at the game apparently it was no worse than Uate's spear tackle this year (who got 0 weeks). So I'd be very surprised if the club didn't show that video and at the most he got 1 week which would be a shame because we've got a big test against the Storm this week.

the problem is he won't have the benefit of a NSW biased match review panel, just remember the tackle Taylor copped 5 weeks for wasn't that much different to the Uate one.

I have my fingers crossed that Moga will be available for the finals but not holding my breath given what the judiciary did to Blair earlier this year.

will be interesting to see how we go against Melbourne next weekend in NYC we could be missing Moga/Taripo/O'Sullivan cuts down our strike out wide considerably, I wonder if Jason Taylor will shift Blair to the centres, Alofa Alofa to the wing and Henare Wells to fullback.
