  • Who's eligible to play 4 the Jets?

From the top squad, who can play for the Jets in their run through the finals?

The Jets have hit some form and i hope they go all the way!!

One good thing about not making the finals...
Carney played for the Jets - what are the rules? Surely that means anybody can play technically... is there a limit of people on NRL contracts or something?

Anyone from first grade can play during the season but the semis require a certain number of games played for the jets during the season to qualify. A few of our younger forwards should be a show.

BTW, anyone who hasn't been to a Jets game - this is a great opportunity. It is a cracking way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Everyone I know who has ever been has deadset loved it.

Ten bucks in the gate and kids are free....
      - to get in
      - to play footy on the hill all game
      - to kick the ball around the field at halftime

Get on out to Henson - you won't regret it.

I was wondering about Carney but I don't recall seeing much of him for the Jets this year.

Where the hell was he then, because he didn't play much first-grade either did he?

He must have been with Newtown, I just don't remember seeing much of him.

Justin carney should be playing for the jets permanently.

By playing there however, he prevents other younger and more talented players coming through the ranks.

I know you can't stand J. Carney in first-grade and I do agree with you, but he has not been too bad in the last couple of weeks, to be fair...

I have to say his front on defence is solid. He has a very good technique.

Could teach SKD a few things about making an effective tackle

Yeah, what is the go with so many modern day players into the shirt grabbing?
