  • Players that will play NRL?

I know there's the obvious ones like Moga, Lowe, Littlejohn and Evans but 4 players can't produce an 11 game winning streak. Who else is one of the masterminds behind the sudden form?

I rate Dumbrell massively, as high as Moga. He's the next Can Smith if he can handle the step up

Dumbrell is definitely the best of the rest. At the start of the season he looked like the best of the lot. A lot of their tries come off the back of very clever runs by Dumbrell. I read a Taylor quote somewhere saying he would be playing for Newtown next year so obviously they think he's ready to step up. Very friend-like with his tackling but a lot faster out of dummy half. Doesn't play as many minutes as you'd probably hope at this stage. So needs to work on his fitness a bit before he hits the big league.

Others will "potential" for first grade would be Alofa, Napa, Rona, Tago, Liu and possibly Blair and Atkinson if they continue to develop in the 20s next year as they have this year. Seems like a lot of players to be wrapping but they have all looked extremely dominant against their opposition this year.

Glen will be turning out for the Jets in 2012. Today he showed a good turn of speed to run down the run-away opposition player late
in the 2nd half. I think he also featured at 5/8 towards the end of the game when Littlejohn left the field. He's obviously a former half turned hooker. I reckon he will give Ant Michell a good run for his money as Jake's back up in 1sts.

NYC to FG is a huge jump.. I don't see Littlejohn as a long term First Grader at all tbh just as I did not rate Brad Murray either.. He is good at this level but doesn't seem to me to have the playmaking skills to handle the step up. The other 3 yes and possibly Dumbrell if he can build his body up.. Cheyse Blair on the other hand is an over rated myth.. He looks to me like a guy who was an athlete but certainly not much chop as a footballer..

Last I heard he signed with Parra, and involved in the Tandy betting scandal. No news since.

Don't know if he is still on Parra's books?
But he is still on the Wenty Magpies official site! (but so is Anthony Mitchell)

I feel the same with Littlejohn. Looks talented, but I don't know if he is talented enough for first grade. I think the step to first grade is hardest for the playmakers more than other positions as it takes a lot of maturity and composure due to the decision making required from the position.

If Littlejohn is to become a firstgrader, I think it will be in a few years. The problem is that if the young kids don't progress quickly from U20's to first grade, they usually leave the club. Not sure if this is the clubs decision or the kids...

Brandon Tago in 2 years or so...

Usaia O'Sullivan is a talant... wasn't at his best the last couple of games after coming back from injury.
