  • Warriors vs Knights NYC

Was Adam Henry and Josh Ailomai any good? How was the warriors side compared to the roosters?

  • #2
Henry was solid, played 5/8 and did his job.

Ailomai was the Knights best, bent the line with every run and only forward making any metres for the Knights.

How come on most websites it will say Henry's playing on the wing but he plays 5/8 and then who plays on the wing?

The 20 was on the wing, not sure what his name is. When the 5/8 pulled out they just said they were doing a straight swap...

Henry is a specialist winger, and can play across the entire backline which is great.
This is the second week in a row Ailomai has dominated and been the Knights best.

Konrad Hurrell...the guy is going to be something special. The Warriors have some massive talent coming through. The fullback looked very sharp as well and commentators mentioned he is leading NYC tryscorer (36 tries??). Don't know his name but someone to consider as a Mini replacement.

Last week Henry wore the number 2 and started on the wing, he was then moved into the centres and half way through the second half was moved into the back row. Adam had a busy day getting many posessions and played impressively throughout the game, Tall, strong and quick, he showed the nous of a more experienced player, that belied his youth, today he played five eighth and did'nt get a lot of ball.Aloamai played today in a pack that was totally dominated by the huge Kiwi team and was the only Knights forward to make an impression (he's a big dude too)

26 tries not 36. if it were 36, he wouldn't be in NYC for long.
