Doesnt he need some sort of coaching certificate? Does he have the required qualifications and certifications? Can you get them for that level in 2 months?

He has the accreditation and I think he will go OK.
The Roosters are pretty serious about SG Ball and would not let him do it if they didn't think he could
The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

Good on him! Certification doesn't make anyone a good coach. certification might help a person coach,. but if you can coach and get the best out of people and know the game, your better off. Ive seen plenty of coaches who are certified that are useless and at the same time seen coaches that have no certification do great things.

                Remember Wally Lewis?
Everyone said what a great coach he was going to be.Personally I thought Wal was the laziest player I ever saw in a team, but had the amazing ability to read most games perfectly & use his energy to the maximum.
We won't know until Piggy tries at this level.
Some people are good at coaching (even if they haven't played, surprisingly). Others just aren't able to convert their playing careers into coaching results.
All that certification does is to cover the arse of everyone involved. A bit like QA. Pass the buck onto someone else if it all goes wrong.
