  • Lowe, Moga, Evans and Cordner all in the 17 for Junior Kangaroos

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs forward Dale Finucane and Cronulla Sharks halfback Chad Townsend have been named co-captains of the ARL Junior Kangaroos for their one-off international against the Junior Kiwis this Sunday at Ausgrid Stadium, Newcastle.

The Andrew Patmore coached Junior Kangaroos will have their final training session today in Newcastle before their match which is scheduled to kick-off at 1.45pm.

The side features 11 players with NRL experience as well as 2011 Toyota Cup team of the year members Jack De Belin, Alex McKinnon (St George Illawarra), Kane Evans (Sydney Roosters), Jacob Miller (Wests Tigers), Dale Finucane (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs), Dane Gagai (Brisbane Broncos) and Kyle Feldt (North Queensland Cowboys).

The side also includes 17 year old wonder kid Tautau Moga who, by definition, could feature in this side for another three years.

The squad will have their jerseys presented tonight by Kangaroos Captain Darren Lockyer and Vice-captain Cameron Smith.

The ARL Junior Kangaroos will line up as follows:
    1. Dane Gagai (Brisbane Broncos)
    2. Kyle Feldt (North Queensland Cowboys)
    3. Moses Pangai (North Queensland Cowboys)
    4. Tautau Moga (Sydney Roosters)

Was always going to be hard to get above the Dally M TC player of the year and Groat who has played a number of FG games.
Good to see we are the highest represented club with 4

At least they're being equal opportunity as there's a gay guy in the squad.

If Tau Tau manages to stand out in that backline at the ripe old age of seventeen, he's something else...

I'll be heading up on Sunday to see this game so great to hear all four Roosters will be representing. Will be interesting to see if Moga plays left or right centre. Pangai is a left side specialist but you'd have to think Moga would get the left side just simply to be more comfortable in defence.

Yak, from what i understand there's no coverage of the curtain raiser so i'll be looking forward to your comprehensive summary of
the game, in particular how Evans & Moga perform against quality opposition. This to me will indicate just how far off they are from
                              making their 1st grade debuts.

                              Cheers.
