Somewhat supernumerary, a prop yes. Runs are very damaging still only 18yo and 135kg.

Very true! there was a bit of hype surrounding his signing in 2010 and he is on course to living up to it!!!!

he is a good player penrith didnt want him cos he was to fat i heard he comes from a club called st marys same club that the likes of michael jennings and tim grant come from.

and yes he can fight won his first fight in 22 seconds so he loves a bit of knuckle

there is a lot of mark tookey about tuivasa imo. tago is the other one who was often his partner in crime off the bench in the 20s who looks the goods as well. between nappa, evans, tuivasa, tago and young lloyd perrett; we have some decent young props coming through looking to put pressure on tasi, masoe, kennedy, JWH, arona.

I still however think we are a workhorse prop in the tolman, mcguire mold short. trent merrin and sam rapira are off contract at the end of next year. merrin in particular would be a good fit imo. big engine, good offload and can bust the odd tackle. he and kennedy starting up from with the likes of JWH, Tasi, Masoe and some of those aforementioned youngsters coming through would be the perfectly balanced frontrow.

Tuivasa reminds me of a george rose... could be a really good impact prop but just needs to watch the weight...

i agree on the depth issue but i feel as though every pack needs that slightly smaller but big engine prop. bar kennedy, the rest of those props (both from the 20s and firsts) are all about size and impact. we need someone like tolman, mcguire, bailey to mop up around the middle of the ruck. someone in the omeley, webke mold to complement the brut force and size of the rest of that frontrow. if it means we lose one of those guys then so be it as long as its not kennedy or JWH, the rest are more or less equal in ability imo at this stage although tasi looks to be the pick of the rest (to me tasi is masoe except with better agility, mobility, consistency and a bigger workrate)

I reckon Tasi will surprise people, he's being cast as an 'impact' prop because he's Polynesian, but the kid has a massive motor.

He wasn't one of our stand-outs thats for sure, especially with our long list of young props we have already I wouldnt care if he left, we have plenty of impact front rowers, Kennedy and soon to be Evans will be our workers..

Arona is hardly a front rower, Tasi and Evans both have a good work rate and could be utilised in the back row as well. In saying that front rowers are meter eaters and need to do there job whilst on the field, Jwh has a great defensive work rate and takes plenty of defenders to pull him down, We need to keep our current crop and develop ,we will have the best pack in 2012 IMO. we don't need to spend on anymore forwards! Arona would make a better lock in time..

Bondi-boy, I don't think referees go out with any intention to cane one team or another, generally the attitude of the players and the respect they show to the ref will determine who gets hit hard with penalties. Maybe we need to zip some lips, 1 penalty at the wrong time in a game can/will cost you dearly.

Far too many times we get penalised for 'nothing' and the opposition can basically do whatever they like and not get penalised.
1-7 penalty count against us in first half in the Sharks match at Cronulla this year.
1-6 penalty count against us in the first half+ against the Cowboys in Townsville this year.

Look at the refereeing in the 2010 GF...for example.

Then there were all the passes we made this year that were called forward that were not forward, at vital times in matches.
It's either incompetence or bias.

Smith and Anasta complained in at least one post-match conference at the end of the season...too little and far too late.
