    Mad,

I don't play around pretending to know or making up crap just to sound controversial. I choose to divulge what
privileged info comes my way because we're all aware of the grubby trolls who visit this forum. Rothwit can burn as far as i care.

Player discontent with Smith is old news. So is the search for his replacement.

Why do I find this depressing? I seriously need to find a hobby.

for those wondering why we are having salary cap problems, one can only imagine what we had to pay the likes of Moga and now Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to secure them from the more than half of the rest of the competition that were trying to secure them.

we are now in a position where we possibly hold the highest rated 18 y/o outside backs from both Australia and New Zealand, nothing is certain in rugby league when dealing with young players (Ryan Williamson perfect example) but geez its about time we finally get our shit together and finally transfer some of this junior potential into first grade results.

not sure about everyone else, but i've got my fingers crossed Jason Taylor can play a big part in the development of these two young kids (via NYC) and we can start the long slow process of building a young core group of talented players that will lead us to our next premiership.
Ben Ikin talked about this on one the One Hd league shows a while back. 2 clubs mentioned were us and the Broncos. He said there were others. The chase for top junior talent is dog eat dog.

Signing young kids is always a risk but I'd rather spend salary cap dollars on them than pay overs for older hasbeens living off a reputation gained 5 years ago.

The young blokes tend to bring enthusiasm and energy to a playing group which in the right environment can be infectious and revitalise the older blokes.

Sticky put too much pressure too early on the young bloke.....He has been learning his trade in NSW Cup and Bundy Cup...
