  • Junior Rooster plucked for QLD

Sydney Roosters SG Ball and Toyota Cup backrower Ethan Lowe has been selected to represent the Queensland 18s side that will play next Wednesday at ANZ Stadium.

The game will be played against the New South Wales 18s side as the curtain raiser to State of Origin game II.

Ethan came to the Roosters this season via the Queensland town of Goondiwindi and is currently studying Health and Exercise Science at NSW University.

He has come into selection for the Roosters 20s after completing the SG Ball season with the Newtown Jets.

Never heard of him either but it's nice that we have someone in the talent "pool" to have hopes for.

He is a very very good player. Has played some Under 20s this year. He wears headgear and does a lot of tackling. He may make it as a 1st grader in the next few years.
