Being religous is a positive. Apart from possibly going on a mormon mission I think being religious is a real positive for him and the club. Being religous he will have some respect for himself, his team mates, coach and fans. For too long we have had grubs ruining our club, Mason, Myles and Carney all could have done with some time in Church.

I reckon its great that he is religous... at least he wont stuff up our club like Carney did!

Everything I hear about him is positive. My mate that is the manager for the Aussie Schoolboys speaks very highly of him on and off the field, reckons he is just a genuinely nice guy, very respectful, very polite and unlikely to ever be in any kind of trouble.

It's a big step up NYC to NRL but if he can handle it physically I can see him playing quite a few games for us. It's much easier for a kid who is a back than a forward or halve. Also we have very little depth in the backs.

I received a text yesterday that we are after Penriths Michael Gordon.
Gordon killed it at fullback last year for Penrith.

                    Indeed Max.
The pleasing thing about several of our U20's Poly guys is that religion has created a strong bond between them. It was quite
common for Alofa, Kane Evans, Tau Tau, Isaac Lui & Sia O'Sullivan to get together on a Sunday night (even after a game) &
go to church and pray/sing (Hillsong?) rather than the norm of getting on the piss etc...

Don't really want to fork out the money for a player thats going to be 29 next year

                        Agree.
Would place us almost back into the same position we are in.
