The pleasing thing about several of our U20's Poly guys is that religion has created a strong bond between them. It was quite
common for Alofa, Kane Evans, Tau Tau, Isaac Lui & Sia O'Sullivan to get together on a Sunday night (even after a game) &
go to church and pray/sing (Hillsong?) rather than the norm of getting on the piss etc...
    you must be joking. ridiculous.

I see nothing wrong with them being religious if it keeps them on the straight and narrow.

Do you actually have anything to say, or do you just get off on telling everyone what they say is "ridiculous"?

How you escaped the clean-out I'll never know.

Keep running that internet crusade of yours.

Blokes like you just make me laugh. Hard. What happens if you get banned from this site? You rejoin with another name as numerous others have obviously done. Your empty taunts are like water off a duck's back. Keep trying though Mr. Ridiculous. God may help you if you ask.

I received a text yesterday that we are after Penriths Michael Gordon.
hard to complain. 29 yes but can play all the way across the backline, has great speed, workrate, aerial ability despite his height and is a great finisher - all things we need. His experience is also a bonus considering he could find himself effectively replacing mini so we would be down an experienced and leader in the backline anyway. The other advantage to gordon is that being 29, he would not prevent guys like RTS and wells in particular coming through and playing firsts in the next couple of years as we could easily let him go. the fact that he is also equally at home in the centres or on the wing as well as fullback also allows us room to maneuver in our kids who will all develop at varying rates.

that said, i know that we also tried hard to get him a couple of years ago when his contract was last up and im pretty sure there was talk at the time that his family were not the greatest advocates of him moving east so it may well be an uphill battle. The only advantage we have this time over last time aside from a seemingly bottomless pit of funds with braith and mini also likely to follow todd and myles out the door as big money players; is that he has since become an origin player and has also become an established fullback despite being seemingly behind coote as the prefered option. That position we could well be able to offer him. Will be interesting to see how it pans out but I cant imagine Gould would let him go without a fight

I think we can do better than Gordon - but we could also do far worse.

His experience, at the right price, would be an asset.

The best age for a player to start playing with us would be 26-28, because we lack a bit of experience, so he's a little bit old, but still has talent.

Not joking....take it as you please.
Absolutely nothing wrong with what floats their boat. At that age it's better than them getting up to no good like some others.
                    If anything I admire them.

who would want young players at church learning about values and morals? they would be much better off in the cross catching up with todd and nate . dont understand the criticisms stemming from your post. they might be terrorists?? get a grip

Would of been a good signing a couple of years ago.

LOL If he ever signed with us, he would be 'dis-owned' by his family!
