  • Who the hell is Tago?

Stupid question perhaps but I have never heard of the bloke and now people are mentioning him a contender for the first grade squad. Can anyone fill me in?

Thanks Billy Gunn. Is he a prop? Any realistic chance of cracking the 17?

Not sure if he will get a start for a while, for mine he is a keeper I expect to see him playing for the jets for the time being

              What's his real name sorry?
If it's Peni then he's 23/24 and has played NRL for the Tigers + St George. Big, fast winger hampered by injury thus far. Guessing not him though? (Because nobody calls him Tago.)

Played last weekend in the NRL trial and was awesome. Got over the advantage line every hit up. Sat a few Dogs defenders on their arses cos he's too wide for front on defence. Also swallowed Goodwin in defence, best hit of the trials.

Watched him play about 10 games last year has a lot of athletic ability for his size ,skill and decent pace too he is definatley one to watch out for and I can tell you quite a few of our current forwards rate him highly.
                            Has a bright future.

Tago sounds a great prospect, hope we have him signed for a few years, because Smithy would usually ease a young prop in to first grade slowly, let's hope he's not impatient, because there are plenty of clubs lacking his sort of size in their forward packs that will be sniffing around!
