Well if that wasn't jinxing something i've never seen it lol. But yeah that pretty average news mate. I suppose despite his good form Usaia and Big Joey are in front of him at the moment. Both better players in my opinion but i did like Asipeli. Gman what ever happened to Brian Skosana? While i didn't rate him it's weird he hasn't been sighted.

Speaking of wingers i think Rokolati has been one of our best to start the season. The kid has a massive heart and digs in. Super light on his feet to and very strong in the tackle. If he has a big year i can see him working towards a first grade spot in 2013. All the attributes i reckon.

Skosana suffered a very nasty ankle break which wound up his short lived league career.

And i totally agree about Rokolati, diminutive but fast. Got limited opportunity in 2011 but what's impressed so far is his ability to read
the play & rush in to close down opposition raids.

I could understand if he went to Souths, being a Mascot junior, but I wonder why the Tigers, sounds like he wanted out, regardless, was it the money? or a fall out with with somone at the club?

Gman, do you know what the go with Tago is, he hasn't been sighted since round 1, according to his twitter account he has been training, is he re-habing an injury or did he get suspended, surely he is in our best 17 for NYC after impressing for our first grade squad in the trials.

also any news on the Rona ankle/foot injury, how much longer before he returns.

Funny thing I goggled a name of a Bondi United Kid "Keliti Vaingalo" who played in the same age division as Asipeli as a youngster, Keliti was twice as tall as any other kid in his age group, through Mini and Mod League. He was a sporting all rounder and held state records in Athletics etc.
When he was a teenager his parents where deported back to Tonga as illegal immigrants. However a private school, (I think Newington College) stepped in and took him under their wing and sponsored him. There he played Rugby Union for the College.
He has switched between Union and League over the last few years playing for our SG ball team, and in the last year or so he has been playing for South’s and the Tiger’s Toyota Cup teams.
I now see in 2012 that he is back playing Union for the Australian Under 20s.
Funny thing too, on the South’s website, on There Toyota Cup Squad page last year, they had him listed as one of there juniors (Mascot) they also had him as born in 1991? When he played for Bondi, he was listed, as being born in 1992.
Always thought he would be one youngster the Roosters would of persisted with.

                Fletch,
Tago rolled both ankles in Rd1 against Souffs. Not sure how his recovery is going.
Rona was in a boot last weekend but has resumed training. I think with Try Try rumoured to be playing NYC this weekend Rona might get another week to recover.
