  • RTS reminds me of Jarryd Hayne

Watched the under 20's last weekend and I couldn't help but notice how much RTS reminds me of Jarryd Hayne. Although Haynes alot bigger, RTS has that Hayne swagger about him. Not only were the socks down but he just moves like him. His powerfull jinking step, his beautifull cutout passes to the wingers, everything really. He was talking alot out there aswell which is a great sign.
Another thing I noticed was how much Daly Cherry Evans was talking him up. Saying how awesome he is and how much potential he has.
I would hate to see us purchase another fullback and allow Sheck to move elsewhere. He has to be our next fullback after Mini.

just remember Smith refused to play Hayne when he was coach of the Eels, it wasn't till J.T took over Hayne got a look in.

I am sure that smithy will keep picking carney or some other dud in front of this kid next year if smith was allowed to stay in charge.

He reminds you of Hayne because he'll be at the Eels tearing it up in a few years.

How would RTS go at 5/8 for us down the track? Btw is there anywhere we can see Toyota Cup highlights?

DCE was the "expert" commentator for the call on Sunday on Fox Sports.

That was due to attitude, nothing to do with playing talent.

Even Hayne admitted himself, he needed a kick up the arse.

So you saying his attitude was fixed the day after smith stood down because taylor picked him to play first grade on the first day that taylor was promoted to parra's interim first grade coach.

What are you suggesting Fred? That an 18 year old boy that has never played a lot of the code can be our saviour. Under your expert observation he will play twice before you brand him as shit and begin campaigning for his death.

                        That info is incorrect.

I didn't say that at all. I am not expecting him to be our savour just as I am not expecting moga to be our saviour. Unlike you, I dont post a million times how good a player is that no one has hardly seen before. I remember earlier in the year reading how good you thought this kid was going to be yet you then admitted that you had not seen him play at all at that stage, nor had 99.9% of people on this forum seen him play until toyota cup started.

Which kid Fred? What are you jibbering about old man? You get on here and stir up all kinds of shit but you have no suggestions. Nothing. All you do is stir up the hate. You are a troll Fred and due to the limited amount of intelligence possessed by about 50% of the idiots on this forum you are a very effective troll. Well done.

important to remember RTS has played a fair bit of rugby league at junior representative/school level, so by no means is he a rugby league novice.

agree with many here, he shows plenty of potential but not ready for the weekly grind of NRL football, that certainly doesn't mean the odd appearance would harm his development.

we certainly struggle at introducing younger players to the NRL scene, doesn't seem to be a problem for plenty of other teams, such as Warriors/Broncos/Raiders.
