Ive never heard of a junior playing under 20s for a nrl side after 4 games of rugby league Chook. He wont replace mini as our permanent fullback but he will get a run at some stage probably from the bench apparently he can play center or wing as well.

Williamsson and Du Plessis never performed in the 20s. The amount of hype surrounding Williamson on the back of a video against Under 18's opponents was ridiculous. Moga has performed extremely well in the level below first grade and so has Sheck in the games that he has played. It's a shame Tau Tau got injured in the Tigers trial cos I thought he was on track to start the season in first grade. Now he's part of the Smith mind games to some degree. While I do think he would improve our team significantly, he will without doubt struggle somewhat defensively in first grade. I'd be happy with him starting outside BJ who is a much better defender this year compared to the early and mid part of last year. Cordner, BJ and Moga is certainly better than Cordner, Carney, BJ. If he does struggle to find his feet in first grade he'll get slammed on here for sure but who really gives a shit!!! He certainly doesn't. Hype is just hype. The players have good enough support staff around them to make sure nothing of what fans say affect their performance. If you want to believe the hype then be prepared to be either disappointed or ecstatic. Players should not cop it from fans that created a heightened sense of expectation.

Regarding Sheck, it will be interesting to see how he performs this week against the Warriors. He'll either get smashed or be too agile for their big men. Looking forward to seeing the full 80 mins this week, been getting to the 20s on or just before halftime and have missed all his tries, Tigers trial included. Hopefully as the season goes on he works on his support play. If he does graduate to first grade next year his ball playing will help our team enormously. We're at such a disadvantage with Mini who has zero evasiveness and zero passing ability so you know the play is dead once it comes to him. For those people saying he is too short you obviously have not seen him in the flesh. He's easily over 6 foot. His profile says he's 174cm but that is a typo. It's the same site that says Mini weighs 69kgs so that tells you something. Looking forward to seeing a team with Maloney running off SBW, Pearce playing second receiver passing out to Maubs and SKD, RTS chiming into the backline and delivering crisp passes to Moga, and a front row rotation of Kennedy, Tasi, Evans and a fit Masoe. That would be a team I'd look forward to hearing named on a Tuesday afternoon.

Finally, just looking at that Williamson footage, did anyone else notice how that SG Ball side was better at constructing a backline play than our first grade team?

Good post yak,Moga will be fine.Remember the try he set up against the tiges in the trial game? theres a lot more of them to come.Sheck running off Moga, skd and sonny bill jeez we will have some strike power out wide then. You know the more i see of sheck the more i think he could play 5/8 as well, he reminds me a bit of a younger benji.

Rts used to played 1st 5 (1st receiver #6 in league ) when he just started to playing rugby, we only moved him out to fulbck coz he was the only player in the team could kick the ball or starting something out of nothing. he is one of a kind the coach need to let him have a go when he spot an opportunity to attack, and believe me he won't let him down.

For mine, RTS reminds me a lot of K.Hunt.

Rts need to play u20 all this season, he's still learning the game and he's got a lot to work on regarding understanding the system n work on his physic.
He will be ready next year no doubt. Btw he is just over 6.1"tall & manage to put on 5kg since he joint the Sydney Boosters, he's 92kg now.
I know they signed him up as a fb, & the warriors was looking at him as a #6 or center

Here how I see it, if they temp to give him (Rts) a go on the top side sometime this season, I rather put him on #6 instead, but fb is different, team will put a lot pressure on him, so all I'm hoping for is...him keep on playing u20 & learn as much as he could bout the game & his playing position. looking forward to watch the game tomorrow.

                            Just for the record helpinghand,

There's no way RTS is 6ft 1" tall. I was adjacent to him last night and noticed the considerable difference in height between us &
                            i'm 6ft 2". I reckon he's 5ft 9" max. Doesn't change my opinion of the guy.........he's improving with every game, a delight to watch
